Shawn's UFOs

The most interesting part of this research was again, the extremists who actually think the aliens will kill us all any minute. This research was again not very hard all around, with easily understood stories of the two mentioned incidents.

Shawn's Black Holes

The most interesting part about this research was for sure how a wormhole could be created via two white holes, and this research was easy except for finding other theories about what's at the bottom of a black hole besides a singularity.

Shawn's Dark matter and energy

This project was not easy in the department of finding how to harness dark energy for power, but the rest was easy enough. The concept of Dark Matter is still kinda hard to grasp, though. Inobservable...pretty strange.

Shawn's Life on other Planets Essay

Life on other planets has always been a touchy topic, with much controversy surrounding the ideas of those who believe and much criticism surrounding those who don't. The vast likelihood seems, however, that life on other planets is both possible and probable, although chances of seeing or contacting them are minuscule to none.
Believers often attempt to use the near infinite size of the cosmos to say that this somehow makes it near impossible to not have other life in the universe. Some, however, debate about life's possibility much closer to Earth: Mars. Mars has some considerable evidence of the ability to support life, with the discovery of water on Mars in a shallow trench named”Dodo-Goldilocks”, not to mention the meteorite ALH84001 which came from Mars and was thought, and still possibly could, contain a biosignature from bacteria 100 times smaller than any terrestrial bacteria from Earth. Life in the universe is definitely possible.
Skeptics, however, say the processes that created the fossil-like markings on the meteorite could have very easily been inorganic, as they could have accumulated during the 11000 years it sat on earth before discovery, as well as the fact that the temperature on Mars may not have been suitable for bacteria to grow.
Personally, I believe that, somewhere out in the billions of galaxies, there must be other life. Even though I myself am skeptical of intelligent life, I do believe that there must be some bacteria floating around on other planets, possibly even in our own solar system. Maybe even Mars has secrets waiting to be uncovered, just below the surface of the untouched, undisturbed rock.

I found it strikingly similar to the UFO research I did in the sense that there tend to be a lot of extremists who think aliens will destroy the world any minute now. The research was not very hard overall, despite the lack of results, the results I could find I had no trouble interpreting.

Farhenheit 451- Science Fiction Novel: Brad Nagel

This was probably the easiest topic for me. I really enjoyed it because it is crazy how the author can predict things so accurately. This project took a long time because I had to read the book, but I think it was worth it. Fahrenheit 451 is a great novel for anybody to read.

UFO's- Brad Nagel

UFO's were pretty easy to research. There was a lot of information on reported sightings which was interesting to read. My favorite part was looking at the UFO fun facts. Some of those were very funny.

Brad Nagel- Life On Other Planets

Researching life on other planets was fairly interesting and easy. Some of the information was a little hard to find, but when I found a good website I was shocked at some of the cool things that may have occured with life in our universe. This topic was one of my favorites to research.

Brad Nagel- Moon Landing Hoax

I found it easy and interesting to research this topic. This was probably my favorite topic that we could research because it is the most debatable out of all of them. The moon landing hoax had information all over, so the information was extremly easy to find.

Jacob-Life off Earth

I found a lot of sites that had some great info, and thought that the idea of a moon that is icy on the surface could be hot in the core is pretty interesting.

Ben T. Black Holes

The research was fairly easy but I still came across some problems when I found out that there isn't that much information on this topic.

The most interesting piece of information that I found was that the black holes onbly have an effect on things really close to them.

Researching this was kind of difficult. Nobody really knows that much about them, so a lot of the information was kind of sketchy. The most interesting thing I learned was that dark matter and dark energy make up such a big part of our universe. We know so much less about our universe than I thought we did.

Black Holes---Bailey Z.

This was an easy project once I found the information. Finding books that had good visual images and information was hard to find. There was many interesting things that I did not know about black holes. One was that the center of a black hole was singularity.

Life On Mars---Bailey Z.

Most of finding the information was easy, but finding the interiviews was much harder. Finding valid interivews was hard because there was a lot of wierd interviews and people. The most interesting part of the presentation was finding some of the cool pictures and hearing the real life UFO stories.
